Subsidy Tracker Individual Entry
aircraft parts plant
The value of the subsidy package, and the jobs and wage projections are taken from: John P. Mcdermott, "State investing millions in plant AH: Vought-Alenia incentives deal gains approval of legislative panel," The Post and Courier, December 8, 2004.
The maximum subsidy for Vought was not to exceed $160 million, which was the level when 1,400 jobs were created. It appears that the company met the "baseline scenario" and qualified for $116 million with 645 jobs. The facility was established to supply parts to Boeing, which took over the facility in 2008. Overlaps with main Subsidy Tracker data: none.
