Nebraska Crossing LLC, a vehicle for Omaha's Century Development and Arizona-based OTB Destination, got approval for public financing for the construction of a new and more modern mall to replace the 1990s-era Nebraska Crossing. The $57.4 million package approved by the city council included: $12.8 million in tax increment financing; up to $14.3 million in sales tax rebates; up to $26.2 million from an occupational tax on retail businesses in the development; and a $4.1 million direct investment in the project by the city.
