Project Description: Crying Eagle Brewing company is conducting an expansion project that will consist of the construction of a new microbrewery location in Lake Charles. The construction will consist of a single, 11,400 square foot building with multiple floors, of which 3,200 will be specific to the manufacturing operation. Within the production space of the new location will be brewery specific storage area for grain, lab equipment, hoses, fittings, gauges, dry yeast, scales, etc. There will be other storage spaces within the entire facility, but the brewhouse and production area has it's own storage space NOT to be used by other departments. The project will also require investment in new equipment for the brewing and packaging of their product. Packaging is considered the final step in the manufacturing process and consists of the beer being kegged and stored until it's final use. The beer in kegs finishes the aging process just prior to sale. For this process the company will purchase a new kegging machine that will wash, sanitize and then fill kegs with beer. This will be a single standalone unit that covers all actions at a pace of 30 kegs per hour. Other brewing equipment included in this project will consist of: o 10 BBL Brewhouse, Cellar and Brite Tanks o Keg Washing and Filling systems o Water Filtration systems o Air Compressor o Beer Filtration o Unloading and Setting o Glycol and Steam Lines o Hoses, pumps, fittings and gauges o Boilers, Chillers and CO2 o Dispensing Equipment
