CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc. opened a new onshore center in Lafayette, Louisiana, which created 400 new jobs, primarily in software development, in 3 years. CGI has re-committed to bring an additional 400 new jobs over the next four years. The Center draws talent from the local community and moved into its new, permanent 50,000 square foot facility (in early 2016) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Research Park.

Jobs is the sum of estimated 10 year new jobs, existing jobs, and estimated construction jobs, which equals the estimated total jobs. Wage data is the sum of estimated 10 year payroll, existing payroll, and estimated construction payroll, which equals the estimated total payroll. Investment data is the sum of Estimated Building And Material, Estimated Machinery And Equipment, and Estimated Labor And Engineering which equals the Total Estimated Investment.
