Notes: The original plan for a Bass Pro store in Denham Springs was announced in November 2003. It later came out that the city was planning to subsidize construction and infrastructure costs by issuing about $50 million in revenue bonds that would be backed by the sales tax generated by the store. A legal challenge to the plan went all the way to the Louisiana Supreme Court, which ruled in favor of the project in 2005 and again in 2006 . The bonds were issued in 2007 and the store opened in 2008. Overlaps with main Subsidy Tracker data: none.
