Project Description: A.W. Chesterton Company has an existing manufacturing operation in Shreveport, LA with 11 employees and has outgrown their current 9,600 sq. ft.facility. The company is looking at two potential options to support their growth: 1) Relocate to another facility in the area or 2) consolidate the Shreveport operations into its Pasadena / Houston, TX sister location and expand that facility. If the company remains in the Shreveport area, it will need a facility ofapproximately 15,000 sq. ft. and anticipates increasing its headcount by 15 to 20 employees. The company is evaluating existing lease space in the Shreveport area and a new build-to-suit that is already under construction in Bossier City (4500 Marlena Street) by a developer. The developer, J&R Juneau, LLC, has filed an Advanced Notification (20190029-ITE) related to its project (construction of the building). This ITE request does not apply to real property(building). This ITE request only applies to personal property (machinery/equipment).
