Notes: SkyWater Technology will build a new 600,000 sq. ft. R&D and production facility in Purdue University's Discovery Park District. In exchange, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation has awarded the company $71 million in performance-based tax credits and grants: $29 million in conditional tax credits, $1 million in training grants, $20 million in redevelopment tax credits, up to $20 million in direct payments, $500,000 in innovation vouchers, and $1 million in Manufacturing Readiness Grants. Greater Lafayette Commerce also spent $5 million creating a semiconductor worker training program in partnership with Purdue and Ivy Tech Community College funded through the IEDC's Regional Economic Acceleration & Development Initiative (READI). Tippecanoe County and the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette are also expected to provide additional incentives and SkyWater intends to seek grant funding through the federal CHIPS Act.
