The package included a $50 million state investment tax credit, $20 million in state sales tax exemptions and $11 million in state property tax abatements. The company was also expected to receive local property tax abatements, the value of which was not immediately reported. The site of the data center is a soon-to-be-retired coal plant owned by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The financial arrangements between Google and the TVA were not immediately announced.
