Notes: Ford Motor Co. will construct an EV battery manufacturing facility, BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, outside the city of Marshall. The associated subsidy package includes: A Critical Industry Program performance-based grant of $210 million from the Strategic Outreach and Attraction Reserve (SOAR) fund; a $36 million loan from the Jobs for Michigan Investment Fund to the Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance for megasite land acquisition and improvement; the creation of a 15-year MSF-Designated Renaissance Zone and PILOT waiver worth an estimated $772 million; a PA 198 Industrial Facilities Exemption property tax abatement worth an estimated $52 million; $630 million for infrastructure investments and site readiness.
