Subsidy Tracker Individual Entry
Honeywell plans to spend as much as $500 million over the next ten years to create capacity at the Geismar facility to produce new products, and to upgrade existing manufacturing processes and systems to improve productivity and existing product capacity. New products may include lithium-ion salt manufacturing (for lithium-ion batteries-- this would be the first plant in the US to produce that material) and green refrigerant.
Subsidy value is sum of estimated tax credits and ten-year payroll rebate. Jobs figure is number of new permanent positions.
