The German steel company was given a subsidy package that included: $57.4 million in state performance-based grants to reimburse site development, infrastructure and equipment costs; a $12.75 million state performance-based grant to reimburse relocation and training costs; and infrastructure assistance worth $6 million from the Red River Waterway Commission, $3 million from the Port of Caddo-Bossier and $2.6 million from the Caddo Parish Commission.
