Notes: Eli Lilly's pharmaceutical research and manufacturing campus was originally announced in 2022 (see a separate megadeal entry) and expanded in 2023. In 2024, the company announced a second expansion and additional $5.3 billion investment and 200 new jobs. For this 2024 expansion, the state's IEDC offered the company: $500,000 in workforce development grants, $20 million in redevelopment tax credits, and $15 million in infrastructure upgrades. IEDC also increased the value of income, sales and property tax rebates, provided via Innovation Development District, from $271 million (offered in 2022 -- accounted for in the 2022 megadeal for the company) to $1.2 billion. We are assigning the difference of $929 million to this 2024 megadeal. Overlap with main data: none.
