Subsidy Tracker Individual Entry

The value and breakdown of the subsidy package as well as the jobs projection are taken from: J. Scott Trubey, "Carpet jobs cost Ga. $44K each," The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, May 9, 2013.
The value of the subsidy package is a conservative number since it does not include expected local subsidies (property tax abatements, infrastructure upgrades and road work). The state level subsidies include: $60 million in job creation tax credits, $22 million in sales tax exemptions for machinery, $6 million grant from the OneGeorgia Authority, $4.5 million in sales tax exemptions for construction materials, and $3.4 million in energy tax exemptions. The source of remaining $9.7 million was not specified.
