The state portion of the subsidy package included $45 million in job tax credits and grants. Oconee and Athens-Clarke Counties contributed $32.7 million, which included $9.5 million to buy the site, $6.7 million for road improvements, 20-year property tax abatements worth $15 million, and $1.5 million in water and sewer connections.
