All figures on the subsidy package were taken from Mike Rogoway, "Intel's new tax deal is a whopper: $100 billion investment, 30 years," The Oregonian, August 11, 2014; available online at http://www.oregonlive.com/silicon-forest/index.ssf/2014/08/intels_new_tax_deal_is_a_whopp.html. The SIP agreement is available on the Washington County website at: http://www.co.washington.or.us/upload/2014-SIP-Agreement.pdf
The value of the subsidy package - $2 billion over 30 years - was estimated by The Oregonian. The subsidy will come as SIP property tax exemptions on Intel's? tools and equipment. The subsidy is investment-based and, according to the Oregonian, "the deal won't create many [direct] jobs." Overlaps with main Subsidy Tracker data: none.
