The NYSEG Sales Tax Abatement project was conducted to benefit AgroFarma, Inc.'s (n.k.a Chobani, Inc.) expansion project and their increasing need for more energy, as well as to provide more reliable electric service to the local community. The project will be bench marked on Chobani's job creation and performance, since NYSEG does not project direct long term job creation as result of the project. Jobs created were reported in the AgroFarma, Inc. Phase III report in order to prevent duplication of job figures.
