In September 2021, Kentucky passed a subsidy bill that offered $410 million to projects investing over $2 billion. Later that month, Ford announced plans to build two electric battery plants in Glendale. Ford is eligible for a $250 million state forgivable loan, $36 million in workforce development ($25 million for building a training center at the site), and free land (1,500 acres). The total does not include any local subsidies or any state level tax-based subsidies that Ford might be eligible for. Overlaps with main data: none.
